If there is one thing you should know about me, it is that I watch a lot of dramas. July was honestly a great month for entertainment because I found myself constantly adding new shows to my watchlist, falling in love with characters, questioning storylines, and occasionally yelling at my screen.
With so many shows being released and so many great stories to choose from, I decided to challenge myself and narrow everything down to my Top 10 Watches of July 2026.
Was this easy? Absolutely not.
Some of these could easily switch positions depending on the day, especially because several of these dramas are still airing. But for now, these are the shows that stood out the most and had me coming back episode after episode.
July’s Top Watch: A Winter Sun Wakes the Wind in Spring Hill Dream
This is without a doubt my number one watch of July.
A Winter Sun Wakes the Wind in Spring Hill Dream is absolutely cinematic. Everything about this drama feels intentional—the visuals, the storytelling, the atmosphere, and especially the music. There is something about the way this series is put together that makes every episode feel like an experience instead of just something I am watching. I am completely invested in the world it has created, and I am loving every moment of it so far. I don’t want to give my full detailed review just yet because I want to wait until the drama is completely finished, but as of right now, this has been one of the strongest watches of the month.
2. Payback
Payback has been one of those dramas that immediately pulls you in because it gives you exactly what you expect from a revenge story while still adding more layers. At its core, it is about justice, revenge, and taking down the people who deserve it, but I also enjoy the emotional elements and the romance that develops throughout the story. The balance between the intense moments and the relationships makes it more than just a revenge drama. I am excited to continue seeing how everything unfolds because this has definitely been one of my favorite watches this month.
3. Don’t Be Too Emotional
This drama has been playing with my mind because I genuinely do not know who the good guy and bad guy are right now. Absolutely have been emotional watching every episode. Every episode makes me question everyone’s intentions, and I love that it does not make things obvious. Right now, I am fully rooting for Big Jane. I know a lot of people probably think he is the bad guy, and honestly, I understand why because he definitely has red flags, but I personally don’t think he is the villain everyone believes him to be. Of course, I could completely be wrong by the end of the series, but that uncertainty is exactly what makes this drama so entertaining.
4. Wandee Good Day
Wandee Good Day was such a refreshing watch, especially compared to some of the heavier dramas I was watching throughout July. The chemistry between the leads is amazing, and I loved all of the little romantic moments throughout the story. It was lighthearted, funny, and honestly just made me happy every time I watched it. Sometimes you need a drama that allows you to relax and enjoy the romance without constantly being emotionally destroyed, and this was exactly that for me.
5. Peach and Me
As the continuation of Me and Thee, Peach and Me has been a drama I was really looking forward to, and I am absolutely loving it so far. I enjoy seeing these characters continue their story and watching their relationships develop even more. PondPhuwin continues to be amazing in this series, and he is definitely one of the highlights for me. The chemistry, the storyline, and the overall feeling of the drama are exactly what I hoped they would be when starting this continuation.
6. Bittersweet Love
Bittersweet Love is probably the drama that has me the most conflicted right now. I am enjoying watching it, but I am not fully ready to accept the love story that is being portrayed yet. There is something about the relationship that I am still trying to understand emotionally, and I haven’t completely reached the point where I am fully invested. However, that is also what keeps me watching because I want to see if the story can change my perspective and make me understand the characters and their love story more as the episodes continue.
7. The Prosecutor’s Proposal
At the very beginning of The Prosecutor’s Proposal, I was struggling with the male lead. I understood that he was coming from a place of hurt and that his actions were connected to his past, but I was still sitting there thinking, “What are you doing to the person you are eventually going to fall in love with?” Because from my perspective, the way he treated her in the beginning was rough. However, as the story continues, I am interested in seeing how the characters grow and how their relationship develops from where it started.
8. Be My Player Two
Be My Player Two is still very early, so I don’t have a huge emotional attachment to it yet. The first episode definitely grabbed my attention. I already love the couple, and I really enjoy the original storyline and the potential it has. There is something about the setup that makes me want to keep watching and see where the story goes. It definitely earned its place on this list because I think there is a lot of room for it to grow into something really special.
9. Deep in the Act
Deep in the Act has one of the more interesting storytelling concepts I have watched recently. The drama creates a parallel storyline. We see two actors working on a film while also watching their romance develop outside of the film. Throughout every episode, we get both perspectives—the story they are acting out and the real relationship forming behind the scenes. I really enjoy how the drama blends those two worlds together. It keeps you invested in both the fictional story and the emotions happening between the characters. Absolutely loved the final episode of the series and the conclusion.
10. Hustle
Hustle is such a fun concept because it focuses on hustlers and con men who are basically targeting bad people. There is something satisfying about watching people who think they are untouchable get outsmarted by someone even smarter. It keeps the story entertaining and gives you that feeling of watching justice happen in an unconventional way.
Final Thoughts
July was definitely a strong month for watching. From cinematic storytelling to revenge plots, complicated romances, and dramas that had me questioning everyone’s motives. I had a lot of fun with this month’s lineup.
The best part about watching ongoing dramas is that the conversation never really ends. My opinions can change, favorites can move around, and characters can completely surprise me.
I am excited to see which of these dramas stay on my favorites list by the end of August.
