This was my very first Asian BL series and honestly I’m so glad I started with this one. It was exactly what I was looking for, fun, dramatic, and full of just the right amount of emotional chaos. It pulled me in and made me want to explore more BL series after finishing it.
Before diving into the review, I should probably mention that I usually have a hard time committing to a BL if the first episode moves too slowly or spends too much time just setting up the characters without any real action or plot to hook me.

Love in the Air Synopsis
Love in the Air follows the intertwined stories of two couples and how their relationships spark, stumble, and ultimately bloom. The first half of the series introduces Rain, Sky, Payu, and Prapai, focusing initially on Rain and Payu’s whirlwind connection.
Love in the Air First Couple Story

Rain and Sky are best friends studying architecture at university. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they cross paths with Payu and Prapai, two close friends involved in an underground street racing organization. In Rain and Payu’s story, Rain decides to pursue Payu to prove to the girl he likes that Payu isn’t as charming as he seems. But the plan quickly unravels when Payu, who already harbors feelings for Rain, allows himself to be pursued. What begins as a playful scheme transforms into a genuine, electric relationship built on challenge, chemistry, and unexpected vulnerability.
Love in the Air Second Couple Story

Meanwhile, Sky and Prapai’s story ignites the night Rain and Sky sneak into one of the street races. When chaos erupts and they’re chased by the mobsters running the event, Prapai steps in to save Sky by claiming they came together. That act of protection leads to a one-night stand that leaves Prapai completely hooked. Sky, however, is guarded, his heart still healing from the trauma of a past relationship. But Prapai, relentless and sincere, begins pursuing him with a fierce determination that slowly chips away at his walls, proving that love can be both tender and tenacious.
Main Characters
Boss Chaikamon Sermsongwittaya Plays Payu
Payu owns a car garage with his twin brother, works as an architect, and also organizes and provides bikes for the group behind the illegal street racing events. He’s the kind of person who seems to do it all and somehow does it well. Everyone around him sees him as the perfect guy. Women fawn over him, guys admire him, and his reputation pretty much speaks for itself.
Noeul Nuttarat Tangwai Plays Rain
Rain is an architecture student who isn’t too serious about his studies until he meets Payu. Rain has a crush on a girl who likes Payu. He goes on a mission to get Payu fall in love with him to show the girl, that Payu is not a good person. Slowly, he began to fall in love with Payu and he didn’t know Payu had already fell for him., Something about Payu’s drive and discipline pushes him to do better and soon Rain starts working harder, partly because he wants Payu’s approval. He develops feelings for Payu. Rain is naive and a little clueless, but that innocence makes his character feel real and endearing.

Fort Thitipong Sangngey Plays Prapai
Peat Wasuthorn Chaijindar Plays Sky
Prapai, or Pai, runs his family’s successful business and is usually a playboy, but everything changes when he meets Sky. After their one-night stand, he starts pursuing Sky and genuinely taking care of him as he learns more about who Sky is. By the end of the series, Prapai is basically a lovesick puppy who will do whatever Sky wants.
Sky is a strict architecture student who has no room for love after his last relationship left him with trauma. Slowly, Prapai breaks down his walls, and he becomes softer when he is around Pai.

Conclusion:
Both stories were unbelievably good. They made me feel the characters’ pain and trauma. I could feel the love in two very different dynamics. Both stories feature a cat-and-mouse romance chase: Rain actively pursues Payu, while Payu subtly manipulates the chase from the background. In contrast, Pai actively chases Sky in a more traditional cat-and-mouse game. Sky is running from love, while Pai pushes him to believe in it again.
All in all, I absolutely love this BL series, and I’ve already rewatched it multiple times.
P.S. I absolutely love that Thai BLs have partner ships that continuously make movies together which means. I will have an opportunity to see these two ships in other. I already have watch series with both of these couples.
