Life Lately | March 17th

Lately I’ve been feeling the urge to change things around again. It happens every so often, this quiet pull to rearrange the pieces of my creative world. Right now that energy is landing on my websites. I have three of them, and I want to start experimenting with new color palettes and visual directions. Sometimes a shift in color is enough to spark a whole new feeling.

There is something refreshing about starting small like this. Changing a color, adjusting a layout, testing a new look. It reminds me that creativity does not always have to be a big dramatic leap. Sometimes it is just moving things around until they feel right again.

At the same time, I’ve also been making changes in my daily life. I’ve been adjusting my schedule and trying to be more active and social. Getting out more, moving my body, talking to people instead of staying tucked away in my own little world. I think it’s helping more than I expected. It’s slowly helping me stay positive and feel a little more uplifting and bubbly again.

If I’m being honest, this year has felt a little heavy. But recently I’ve started to notice a small shift. Not a huge breakthrough, just a quiet sense that things might slowly get better. I’m at least trying to feel better, even if I’m not completely there yet.

And maybe that’s enough for now.

Sometimes the first step forward is simply deciding to keep creating anyway. So for the moment, I’m opening up my design boards, playing with color palettes, and letting myself experiment. No pressure. Just curiosity.

Maybe a new shade here, a brighter tone there, and a slightly fuller calendar will slowly paint a new season into my life. One small change at a time. ✨

I plan on using this new behavior to push forward and maybe make some changes that will skyrocket my year into the positive.

Kickball

I’ve joined a kickball league recently, and it’s been such a refreshing change of pace. Honestly, I was thrilled to have tied a game recently, and even more excited when we won our first game not long after. It’s not just about the competition; it’s about the experience. I’ve been meeting genuinely good people, sharing laughs, and enjoying the feeling of moving my body in a way that’s fun instead of forced. There’s something energizing about playing a game with others, about feeling part of a team, and letting myself be fully in the moment.

It’s also made me think about what comes next. Once the season ends, I’m seriously considering joining another sports league just to keep this momentum going; staying active, social, and engaged. This small change has reminded me that sometimes the best way to feel lighter and happier is to get out there, try something new, and just enjoy the ride.
