Hello, It’s December. First, letโs talk life, growth, chaos, clarity, and all the beautiful messiness November handed me. It’s for me to do a monthly reset.
Let’s begin the Monthly Reset
December is here, and sheโs giving โfinal chapter energy.โย Asย the last monthly reset of the year, Iโm stepping into itย with intentionโready to sweep the floors of my life, clear the mental cobwebs,ย andย polish everything that needs to shineย so thatย we can walk into 2026 fully illuminated.

Reflecting on my fast paced November

I blinked and the month was over. I almost forgot it was Thanksgiving weekend. The last two weeks of November turned me into a planning machine. Truly feral. Completely possessed. My Notion became a kingdom โ structured, intentional, and honestly stunning. Everything I need lives there now. My 2026 system is sketched out, the scaffolding is built, and Iโm walking into the new year with clarity.
Notion is my main home for documentation.
My bullet journal is where my hands think.
My iCloud calendar keeps my real-world life synced.
Notionโs calendarโฆ exists. But sheโs not the main character, and thatโs perfectly fine.

I went to the town fair with my sister and niece, and we had such a wonderful time together. The energy of the fairโthe lights, the music, and the laughter all aroundโmade it feel magical. We were careful with our spending, which was a relief, and still managed to enjoy ourselves fully. We each went on two rides, and the joy on my nieceโs face was absolutely priceless. It felt like the perfect, lighthearted way to close out November, creating little memories that will linger well into the holidays.

Moments That Lifted Me โ Wins Iโm Holding Close
Planning:
Smooth. Focused. Peaceful. I felt myself settling into a rhythm.
Finances:
ListenโฆNovember had me in my aggressive budgeting arc. I paid $2,100 toward my car when I normally pay $700. The plan is to throw $1,500 at it each month until itโs gone, but then autopay decided to betray me. I paid $700 manually; the system ignored me. I paid another $700; still nothing. Then I paid $800. Chaos. But I had the money, and honestly? Fast-forwarding my car payoff is a blessing.
Everything shifted โ budgeting, saving, spending. I canceled subscriptions, glided into a no-spend lifestyle, and surprisingly? I survived and thrived.
Website Pivot:
Ah yesโฆthe platform shuffle. I moved back to WordPress. Wix tried to keep me, but she wasnโt giving the structure I needed. The migration was tedious, but WordPress feels like home. Starting December on a stable website setup is a win Iโm celebrating loudly.
Creative Work:
My churchโs end-of-year video? Progressing beautifully.
My own end-of-year video? Still sitting in the waiting room. I need to clear my gallery and move everything to my hard drive so I can actually start. Both videos need to be done by December 15, so pray for me.
Language Learning:
Thai learning slowed down. I learned the words but didnโt take time to memorize them. A soft stumble, but weโll pick it back up.
Lessons Learned:
Honestlyโฆnothing new. I know myself. I made life harder than it needed to be because I was reorganizing everything like a woman possessed.

Clear & Reset
My Notion reset is already complete โ polished, clean, ready.
My inbox? A slow-burn project.
My hard drive needs serious organizing โ all my B-roll needs a home, a cozy little archive where I can find them instantly.
My calendar is updated and aligned, so no reset needed there.
December, Iโm ready for you.

Planning Ahead: What December Holds
This month is full but manageable. My finances are mapped out clearly. Iโve got Christmas events sprinkled through my schedule โ personal and work โ and yes, outfits are being planned with the intensity of a stylist preparing for New York Fashion Week.
At church, Iโm baking 100 mini Bundt cakes and chewy pumpkin cookies for the banquet. Iโve been testing recipes and theyโre turning out beautifully. Masterpieces.
Work calendars are sorted.
New Yearโs fireworks money is ready.
Christmas shopping is minimal โ just two outdoor Christmas trees, solar lights, and I already have all my indoor decor.
I might even finish the holiday season with money still sitting in the holiday fund. A blessing. Iโll rebuild it in January for future holidays and birthdays.

Monthly Intentions โ December
My monthly intentions are that I am hoping for a calm December where, while I am doing all of these events, I am staying calm. I am focused on starting 2026 on the right note financially, mentally, productively โ all of the lys. December will be sorted like a grand finale where I am doing everything that I need to do and ensuring that Iโm doing it within the mindset of all the goals that I want to accomplish next year.
I donโt want to rush to try to finish any goals that I did have for this year. Being reflective is the key. I want to look at those goals and see how I can change things, or if this needs to move forward to the next year, or if I should just say this no longer aligns with me. So my goal for the month is to be happy and to do the things that are gonna bring me final moments of happiness for the year.
Itโs not gonna be stressful. I want to create all of the systems that I can to make 2026 a good one and systems to help when I start falling. December will be somewhat of a low-spend month because all of the things that I have planned should already have their money set aside. I donโt need to pull out of any money that I will be gaining from my income and putting towards it.
December’s Theme
So the theme for December is reflective, and the mood is calm. Weโre moving forward calmly. I want to feel happiness. I want to do things that Iโm gonna enjoy and make this year kind of finish off sort of the way it started. It started as a great year, and I want it to end as a great year. Even with all the struggles and things that I may have had in between, this is definitely a better year than last year, and I want to have that moment of gratitude that it was a great year.

Mantra & Reflection
Mantra:
Iโm building a life that feels like peace from the inside out.
“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.” โ Buddha
These lines act as a gentle guide for December โ a reminder to approach the month with calm, intention, and mindfulness as I wrap up the year and plan for 2026.
