We are starting May off in the right direction. I want to start by saying that my perfectionism has been getting to me. I have always thought that one day, my content calendar would be perfect — that everything would be running like a smooth machine. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
This brand will have ups and downs, and embracing them — making them part of the journey instead of seeing them as obstacles — will allow me to stay consistent and positive.
April Reflection

To start our monthly reset, let’s get into what happened in April. April was a true testament to my desire to keep pumping out content even when it feels hard. It was around this time last year that I decided to shift my mindset — planning for the next year and rebranding. I have learned so much from last year, and now, I am powering through. No more distractions. April was a good month overall, and I continue to enjoy this year and the growth it’s bringing.
Content-wise, I did go through a small change in when and what I post. I picked up a second job, and the time I had available shrank even more. Because of that, I decided it was time to focus more on quality over quantity — having scheduled posting dates and doing mass posting rather than weekly posts. I’m hoping this adjustment will help me stay consistent without burning out.
I didn’t get to do a day trip in April. A plan was set, but unfortunately, it fell through. In May, we are looking to make up for it with a trip to Anna Maria Island!
In April, I also started thinking ahead — summer trips, and even a future trip to Europe.
I’ve decided on Ireland for 2027, and I cannot wait for the experience.
(For context, I was supposed to visit Ireland when I studied abroad, but that didn’t happen — so here’s to making it happen now!)
Creatively, I got really into my bullet journal — scrapbooking in it — and it’s been helping me so much with anxiety and stress.
In April, I also found out I have PCOS and anxiety, and I’ve been navigating through that journey, but these things couldn’t bring me down.
I’ve been going to the gym regularly and even downloaded a workout app because I needed a little more structure.
Overall, everything has been great — progress, not perfection.
What I’m Letting Go Of

This month, I’m releasing the tight grip control has on me.
I am hoping to let May be fluid, based on what happens.
To dance with life instead of trying to choreograph every step.
Intention for May
My intention for May is locking down the habits that I’ve established in the first four months of the year —
and not adding anything new for a month.
Also: focusing on my health, not on what people at work or at home think I should be doing.
This month is about building strength from within, not seeking validation from the outside.
Well, guys this is my May reset and I hope you’ll join me for future resets and what I do with this blog in the future.
